We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Monitor and maintain network and server systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email, internet connectivity, and other IT services.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of our IT systems.
• Train and assist staff on the proper use of technology and software.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and other common business applications.
• Knowledge of networking and troubleshooting network issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
Working Conditions:
• This is a full-time position, with 40 hours per week.
• The IT Support Specialist will be based in our office in Dallas, Texas.
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to perform system maintenance or upgrades.
• Some travel may be required to provide support to our satellite offices.
