Full job details

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent customer service skills. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, maintaining our IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues

- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner

- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals

- Monitor and maintain network and server infrastructure

- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity

- Manage user accounts and permissions

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements

- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides

- Train employees on new systems and technologies as needed

- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems

- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar IT support role

- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite

- Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and other network services

- Familiarity with network security and data backup systems

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
