Job DetailsJob Location: Stockton, CA 95203Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $23.00 - $23.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayPOSITION SUMMARY: The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provides technical support for personal computers, hardware, application software, operating systems and connectivity to networks. Performs hardware and software installation and configuration on personal computers, performs troubleshooting on desktop workstations, wiring hookup of PCs and printers. Communicates effectively with non-technical employees as well as technicians. Provides network infrastructure support and assists with special projects as needed. Assists with network operations and the ongoing deployment of PCs, Printers, Cabling, Switches, Routers, and network planning. The IT Technician also has primary responsibility for the make-ready of PCs and servers and will work with Department Heads to coordinate moves, installation, etc. Maintains hardware devices, components and documentation. This is a non-union position.
SSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist with installing and maintaining local desktop, maintain system documentation.
Provide technical support to users with the help of support desk and network team.
Assist network team in trouble shoots problems with network equipment and performs equipment repair or upgrades when appropriate. Individuals in this position are expected to be available during the normal business hours of the establishment and may occasionally be asked to vary their schedule and/or work overtime to meet department requirements.
Analysis, judgment, attention to detail, dependability, informal communication, initiative, knowledge of work, sensitivity, teamwork, technical/professional self-development, work standards and adhere to the facility professional appearance standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with installation, configuration, maintenance, modification, and operation of Local Area Networks.
Provide technical support and assistance to network users such as password resets and creating email accounts.
Install PCs, software, and peripheral equipment. Assist with PC, network configuration and cabling.
Assist to administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Install, configure, and maintain network cabling and other networking equipment
Assists with installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network connected end-user hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Management of computer labs, installing any software needed for each quarter and/or special events. Travel to off-site location may be required.
Assists with ordering software, hardware and other supplies as required for the institutional computer network, personal computer, and computer labs.
Assists with maintenance of the phone system.
Assist with the setup of technology for meetings, orientation/in-services, conferences, events, etc. This might require travel to an off-site location.
May perform other duties as needed. Human Resources/Performance Improvement / Information Management

• Adheres to all Dameron Hospital Association policies and procedures including but not limited to, the hospital Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, safety rules, Joint Commission standards, California Department of Public Health (CDPH) regulations and any other regulatory agency
• Provides methodology for dissemination of information providing opportunities for discussions of division problems, and orientation of new projects or procedures, as assigned. • Performs all tasks demonstrating service excellence to both staff and customers.

QualificationsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Heavy Customer Service background desirable.
Exemplary past work history and strong work ethic.
