Job Details: Job Location: (P) - NUWCDIVNPT, Rhode Island - Newport, RI, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Position Title: System Administration IV Location: Newport, RI Clearance required: SECRET Scope of Work: Provides senior network system administration and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, IDS, and cryptographic equipment across classified and unclassified networks. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Install, configure, troubleshoot, test, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, content filters, and IDS Perform cryptographic equipment and keying material loading, testing, and troubleshooting Manage and operate the Network Operations Center, Secure Network Management Center, and help desk Draft and update network Standard Operating Procedures for Government approval Qualifications: This position is designated Key Personnel. Incumbent must be a DoD-Approved Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 3 individual (for example CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP or Associate, GCED, or GCIH). Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level. Senior network administration and network security configuration expertise Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2 Must hold a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CCNP, CompTIA Linux+, and Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Protection training
