Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer for Facilities Services is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and consistency of facilities operations, including maintenance of critical Infra systems. This role focuses on developing and implementing quality processes that improve preventive maintenance execution, reduce recurring equipment failures, and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

The QA Engineer will audit maintenance activities, evaluate contractor performance, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies. By establishing standardized procedures, monitoring key performance metrics, and leading root cause investigations, this role helps transition the organization from reactive issue resolution to a proactive, reliability-driven operation.

This position works cross-functionally with facilities engineering, operations, EHS, and external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery, minimize downtime risk, and optimize overall facility performance and cost efficiency.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Lead the Project Management group quality program. 

  • Review, update and maintain Specifications, Work Guides and SOP’s to ensure quality. Review all facets of clean room tool installation and to ensure Safety and Quality.

  • Develop Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for the quality program and report on status weekly.

  • Develop quality expectations and communicate to the contractor teams, maintain specifications with input from system level owners, design engineers and 3rd party QAQC. Maintain quality records, corrective actions and audits both internal and external. 

  • Function as a leader of the Department quality management program.

  • Drive the correction action response initiative to ensure timely and pertinent responses.

  • Provide initial quality training to new team members and sustainment training to current team members.

  • Keep organized records of quality checks, corrective actions, and internal and external audits.

  • Drive and maintain standard work and visual factory initiatives.

  • Lead appropriate process improvement initiatives to meet company quality targets.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering 

  • Proficiency in root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.

  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.

  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.

  • Excellent documentation, report writing, and record-keeping skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and quality management software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

The current base salary range for this role is between $76,000 - $120,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
