Pay Range: $30.93-38.35 hourly

Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

 

As NFM’s I.T. Support Technician III you will deliver excellent customer service to our retail store-level and home office staff. You will act as escalations point for problems above skill level of Level I and Level II Technicians, while providing technical support for all hardware, software, and applications problems.

 

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Play your Part: Configures PCs, Laptops, Audio/Visual equipment, radio frequency(RF) and wireless devices for deployment.
  • Be the Expert: Conducts research on new technology being considered for development projects
  • Unravel: Determines why equipment is not working by analyzing the situation and physically examining the equipment and performs all repairs
  • Collaborate: Works with 3rd party vendor as necessary for problem resolution on Radio Frequency, Wireless and A/V devices
  • Support: Test new/moved equipment to ensure it is operational and fully meets expectations of customer

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

  • Associate degree in Information Systems or PC/computer diagnosis, repair or equivalent experience
  • 4 years’ experience with communications devices and computer related hardware; installation, diagnosis and repair
  • CCNA certification required
  • Comp TIA A+ or related certification
  • Experience in mentoring staff
  • Demonstrated Project Leadership skills
  • Fundamental understanding of operating systems of end-user devices and the relationship to application software and network connectivity with the ability to apply them for the completion of routine assignments
  • Basic computer skills plus knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
  • Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check
