Job Details: Job Location: Administrative - Sacramento, CA, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 2 Year Degree, Salary Range: $25.00 - $25.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: Up to 50% , Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Information Technology, Summary: The IT Support Technician, under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, will provide support and technical assistance with troubleshooting various IT issues, including but not limited to Assisting the end user in the areas related to desktops, laptops, software, application support, managing help desk type systems like ticketing systems and imaging software, basic networking, networking printing and audio/video and telephone (VolP), and physical and virtual servers. This position supports the Network and Desktop Administrator with various IT projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ability to provide technical support to end users across multiple business areas to support incidents, problems, and requests in non-technical and technical terms.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidential
Oversee and report the performance of El Hogar systems.
Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems to provide technical assistance and support.
Set up equipment for business or employee use, performing or ensuring proper cables, operating systems, or appropriate software installation.
Maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) system
Support and assist in EHR systems, existing or new.
Assist in developing training materials and procedures or train users in properly using hardware or software.
Escalate significant hardware or software problems or defective products to higher-tier support, management, and/or vendors.
Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades.
Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
Assist the Network and Desktop Administrator in completing various IT tasks to support a growing environment of 100+ employees.
Collaborate with others to resolve information technology issues.
Technical Skills -
Resolve computer hardware software problems.
Train others in computer interface or software use.
Test software performance.
Constant review of El Hogar’s systems to improve performance.
Document operational activities.
Installation and maintenance of El Hogar’s systems.
Provide recommendations to improve El Hogar’s IT Environment
Collaborate with others to determine design specifications or details.
Conduct research to gain information about products or processes.
Update knowledge about emerging industry or technology trends.

Education and/or Experience:
Associate Degree in computer science or related field and 1year work experience in related field.
OR
Vocational Diploma in computer science or related field and 2 years work experience in related field.
Certification:
“A+, Network+ or Microsoft Certified Professionals (Highly Preferred)
Valid CA drivers license on more than 1 point on driver record and no DUI convictions (Required).
