UNCLE Credit Union is looking for an onsite IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST to provide employee end users software applications support and troubleshooting assistance. This is an onsite position at our Livermore Headquarters Office and reports to the AVP, IT Manager.   The IT Support Specialist answers end user incoming help desk calls,  provides assistance for password re-sets, access issues, and systems how-to questions in a virtual desktop environment. This role also provides phone support for questions related to hardware such as 10 Zig virtual desktops, laptops, iPhones and financial center systems.  

Duties include:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to provide fast and friendly internal service.  Strong phone and communication skills are required. 
  • Ability to research and quickly learn common technology issues 
  • Ability to partner with IT team members to quickly escalate or resolve re-occurring issues and patterns

 

Education and Experience: 

  1. High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent; college level computer course work or relevant experience a plus
  2. Knowledge of common help desk topics related to Virtual Desktop, Active Directory and Windows365 as well as common hardware troubleshooting topics
  3. Experience in a help desk related assignment assisting end users with technology related FAQs and troubleshooting

Compensation: $27.50-34/hr. DOE
