As an IT Support Specialist at ECMSI, you’ll be the friendly tech hero our clients count on—solving real problems, keeping users productive, and making technology behave. Think: equal parts troubleshooter, translator (human ↔ tech), and professional button‑clicker.


Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)

Provide professional, timely support for client technology issues—everything from Microsoft 365 hiccups to network weirdness—while documenting your work and keeping customers informed like a pro.


What You’ll Do (Your Superpowers)

• Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for end users via phone, remote tools, and on‑site visits

• Support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID)

• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, networks, and applications

• Handle VPN and remote access support

• Keep tickets clean, documented, and updated in ConnectWise

• Escalate complex issues with solid troubleshooting notes

• Enter time and expenses accurately (yes, every time)


Bonus XP (Not Required, But You’ll Look Cool)

• Fortinet firewall and FortiClient VPN experience

• UniFi switches, access points, and controllers

• MSP tools like ConnectWise and IT Glue

• Happy clients who feel informed and supported

• Fast resolution times and clean documentation

• Knowing when it’s DNS (and when it’s not)

Salary: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree in a related field is a plus.


  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
