We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of computer systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to staff for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals
- Monitor and maintain the performance of the company's IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, and network equipment
- Ensure the security and integrity of data by implementing and maintaining appropriate backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
- Train staff on the proper use of hardware and software systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for improvements to the company's IT infrastructure
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues
- Maintain inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems, such as Office 365 and Google Workspace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is a plus
