Brief Overview: We're looking for a highly motivated intern to help to join our Help Desk team. This is a 24 to 34 hour per week internship. The schedule is flexible, but the work must be performed at our corporate headquarters in Providence RI at least 3 days per week Monday through Thursday.  Participants in our program receive one-on-one mentorship while working alongside seasoned Technical Support professionals. You will prepare computer equipment and access for new hires, provide technical support to end users on a variety of general issues; responds to incoming calls, tickets, and other requests for technical support. You will track and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution; keep end users apprised of status of requests; utilizes Five Diamond customer service skills in all interactions.  What you will do: Support team members with new hire process including the preparation deployment of equipment as well as real time support of day one onboarding activities.  Assist users by diagnosing hardware and software issues. Evaluate and run in-depth diagnostics to resolve issues. Provides superior customer service to all users with Five Diamond Service standards while meeting service level expectations set forth by the department. Follows through on all service requests assigned, ensuring end user receives timely information regarding status of request and estimated timeframe for resolution; keeps management apprised of problems which may escalate; and documents support activity.  Support team members with small to large scale projects.  QualificationsEducation •    High School Diploma Required  •    Working towards a degree Information Technology or related field required    Experience •    1+ years Customer service, preferably in a high-volume environment.  •    1+ years Helpdesk Support Preferred    AAA Northeast is proud of our diverse culture, fostered by the many talents, skills, passions, and expertise of our employees.
