Full job details
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Infrastructure Engineer in United States.
This is a high-ownership infrastructure role focused on keeping a globally distributed, low-latency trading platform reliable, secure, and performant at all times. The environment is fast-moving and highly autonomous, requiring someone who thrives without bureaucracy and takes full responsibility for system health end to end. You will work directly with engineering leadership to design, operate, and continuously improve production infrastructure spanning cloud, edge, and on-chain systems. The role blends SRE, DevOps, and platform engineering with a strong emphasis on automation, security, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring uptime, reducing latency, and strengthening resilience across mission-critical systems used by active traders. This is a hands-on engineering position where proactive problem solving and rapid execution are essential.
\n- Own and operate end-to-end infrastructure across backend services, frontend systems, databases, observability stacks, third-party integrations, and globally distributed cloud and edge environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, rollback strategies, preflight checks, and post-release monitoring to support safe and efficient releases.
- Design and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and Ansible, ensuring reproducibility, scalability, and operational consistency.
- Improve system observability through metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting, enabling fast detection and resolution of incidents affecting uptime or latency.
- Define and enforce incident response processes, runbooks, and operational standards to strengthen reliability and reduce mean time to recovery.
- Manage secure and resilient infrastructure including Cloudflare routing, CDN configuration, WAF, DDoS protection, VPN mesh networks, and zero-trust access controls.
- Own infrastructure security practices including secrets management, OS hardening, firewall configuration, key rotation, and incident readiness.
- Support performance-sensitive backend systems and distributed SQL databases, ensuring stability under production trading load.
- Build internal automation and tooling to improve developer productivity and reduce operational overhead.
- Continuously raise reliability, scalability, and security standards across all infrastructure domains.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps roles supporting production-critical, low-latency systems.
- Strong Linux systems expertise with experience managing both cloud and bare-metal infrastructure environments.
- Deep hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible in production settings.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TLS, load balancing, CDN behavior, routing, and secure traffic management.
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, ClickHouse, InfluxDB, or equivalent monitoring stacks.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems end-to-end across infrastructure, databases, applications, and external APIs.
- Strong knowledge of database operations including replication, connection pooling, performance tuning, and reliability considerations.
- Solid security fundamentals including secrets management systems such as Vault or equivalent tools.
- Experience writing clear technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments.
Benefits:
- Above-market compensation with equity opportunities.
- 100% employer-covered health insurance.
- Generous paid time off.
- All-expenses-paid team retreats and conferences.
- Weekly meal vouchers.
- Additional perks and evolving benefits package designed to support high-performance teams.
