Operating throughout Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico, we maintain a modern fleet of drilling rigs with a strong commitment to safety, performance, and people. Our corporate office is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where our IT team supports both office and field operations across multiple locations. Position Summary Latshaw Drilling is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. This position serves as the primary point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and user access. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for solving technical problems in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, remote support, and in-person assistance Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues Log, track, prioritize, and close support tickets within the IT Service Management (ITSM) system Support Windows desktops/laptops, Microsoft Office applications, mobile devices, and core business systems Perform Active Directory user administration including password resets, account unlocks, and account maintenance Install, configure, maintain, and deploy workstations, printers, and peripherals Escalate unresolved or advanced technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary Assist with onboarding/offboarding activities including equipment setup and account provisioning Create and maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard procedures Support remote users and field personnel as needed     Technical Environment Experience with the following technologies is preferred: Windows 10/11 Windows Server environments Active Directory On-premise Microsoft Exchange VPN connectivity Printers and scanners Basic TCP/IP networking Remote support tools Desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting Mobile device support Qualifications Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience 0–3 years of IT support, help desk, or customer service experience Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus Desired Skills Strong communication and customer service abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Dependable attendance and professionalism Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users Eagerness to learn and grow within the IT field Stable work history preferred Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift and move computer equipment up to 40 lbs Ability to work in an office environment with occasional travel to remote locations or field sites if needed Ability to sit, stand, and use computer equipment for extended periods Equal Opportunity Employer Latshaw Drilling Company (LDC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
