About the Role
Job Summary:
The Help Desk Technician is responsible for supporting employees onsite in Birdsboro, PA, with all computer-related issues. This position will assist with the maintenance, analysis, troubleshooting and repairing of computer systems, as well as hardware peripherals and relevant software applications. This position documents, maintains, upgrades and/or replaces hardware and software systems.
Job Responsibilities:
-Support all desktop, laptops & cell phone functions.
-Provide account creation, management, modification, disablement, and deletions within Microsoft Active Directory and Entra.
-Assist with both on and off-site set-up, installation debugging, tracking and maintenance of all hardware and software.
-Assist with ordering hardware, IT-related supplies, and maintaining adequate quantities for handling maintenance and new installation.s
-Monitor support ticket queue.
-Record, track, and document service desk solutions.
-Issue equipment as requested.
-Track/monitor equipment issued and document assets accordingly.
-Perform maintenance on desktops & laptops.
Education:
-Bachelor's degree in IT-related field (or 4+ years experience).
Position Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years working within an IT support role.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience working with MS Operating Systems.
-Must have IT certification, ideally CompTIA’s Network+ or Security+.
-Must be able to work onsite in Birdsboro, PA.
-Experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
-Excellent Customer Service skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language is required.
