Description

The Distribution Center Technology team is a highly-motivated and knowledgeable squad that is responsible for making sure all DC’s running on the Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management System are supported – from DC hardware and peripheral devices to back end application components to support Manhattan WMS. Outside of Distribution Center peripheral devices and backed end support the team also partners with different vendors for DC MHE. We are seeking an experienced and positive Hardware Specialist to be located at our Columbus facility who can work in a fast-paced and fun environment possessing excellent problem solving and people skills. We are a small but powerful team supporting the second largest labor force in the company! Must have IT support experience within a warehouse distribution center supporting RF scanner devices, Voice devices, PCs, Wifi, & printers.

A day in the life:

• Work on peripheral devices, include the following: RF devices, Voice devices, PCs, Wifi, & printers

• Manager and oversee all hardware issues, repairs, and track maintenance for the devices

• Support assigned projects - meet project timelines, support the delivery of project goals and objectives, and resolve project problems.

• Perform preventative maintenance on printers, autobaggers, and Distribution Center peripherals

• Leads the other Associate Support Analysts on the campus (who are likely on different shifts)

• Acts as primary POC for DC operations team on their campus, and possibly multiple nearby campuses.

• Assists is hardware purchases across all Distribution Center's

Qualifications:

• Understanding of Distribution Center peripheral devices RF devices, Voice devices, PCs, Wifi, & printers maintenance and support.

• Extremely organized and detail oriented

• Ability to communicate efficiently with vendors and end users to triage issues

• Pursuing an IT focused degree, preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
