Job Summary
The ServiceNow System Administrator will operate as part of the IT Service Management team to support the current and future operational needs of BCBSKS. This role will handle configuration and deployment tasks for the BCBSKS ServiceNow sub-prod and production instances, as well as provide day-to-day support and system enhancement recommendations for current and future ServiceNow modules.

What you’ll do
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document requirements
Design, configure, and deploy forms and workflows in the ServiceNow environment
Perform unit, system, and integration testing of ServiceNow processes
Create and maintain documentation for the ServiceNow solution
Configure and support integrations between ServiceNow and other software solutions
Adhere to established best practices and standard operating procedures
Assist with designing, developing, and supporting the CMDB within ServiceNow
Provide guidance to users regarding how to utilize the ServiceNow platform
Assist with implementing additional modules of the ServiceNow platform
What you need
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated experience as a ServiceNow administrator for incident, change, problem, request, CMDB, and knowledge management applications
Ability to troubleshoot system issues
Excellent verbal and written communication
Capable of working independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and accomplish objectives
Ability and desire to quickly learn and apply new technical knowledge and skills
Strong logical thought process for design and analysis
Experience integrating multiple systems together
Proven analytical aptitude by reviewing business needs and identifying their effect on the existing infrastructure.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in Information Technology required.
2+ years as a ServiceNow administrator required.
ServiceNow Administrator certification preferred
CMDB development/maintenance experience preferred
Compensation
$94,400 - $118,000
