Purpose of Position: The Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in the management and maintenance of an organization’s computer systems for on premise and cloud solutions. Installation, configuration and maintenance of server hardware and software. Apply software updates, patches, and security fixes to ensure systems are up to date. Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting system issues. Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required or 3 or more years of Systems Administration experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years of information system experience with a financial institution.
- Knowledge of personal computer and network systems in a corporate environment including, but not limited to the following:
- Software applications
- Windows operating system
- MS Windows
- Word
- Excel
- Outlook
- Power Point
- Access and other database applications. Knowledge of other database and operating systems preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Must be bondable.
- Must be flexible and able to work unusual and variable hours/schedules including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
- Must be on call at all times.
- Must be accurate, dependable, and reliable.
- Excellent judgement, innovative thinking, problem solving, communication and organizational skills preferred.
