IT Technician (Facilities Support)
Location: Flanders, NJ

Job Summary

To oversee and support our organization’s IT operations. This role is responsible for managing network systems, maintaining IT infrastructure, and leading desktop support services. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership abilities to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Manage VPNs, wireless networks, and remote access solutions
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage systems, and data centers
• Maintain and upgrade hardware and software systems as needed
• Lead desktop support operations for end-users (hardware, software, printers, mobile devices)
• Support onboarding and offboarding of employees (accounts, devices, access)
• Local travel as needed

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of IT support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows systems, hardware, and basic networking.
• Experience supporting office or operational environments preferred.
• Ability to provide hands-on, onsite technical support across departments.
