About the Role

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide short‑term helpdesk coverage while a team member is on paternity leave. This role is critical to day‑to‑day IT operations and requires someone who can hit the ground running with little to no formal training.

The technician will primarily work within the Freshservice ticketing system, supporting end users with hardware, software, and device management issues in a Microsoft‑centric environment. There is no project work—this role is fully focused on operational IT support.

Work Environment: 100% Onsite

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible by ±1 hour if needed)

Employment Type: Temporary / Short‑Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline IT support through a high‑volume ticketing system (Freshservice)
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Excel, and general system issues
  • Support Intune (MDM) for:
    • Mobile device management (Android & iOS)
    • Laptop imaging and deployment
  • Set up and image new laptops and user equipment
  • Configure and manage Apple and Android devices to ensure proper MDM enrollment
  • Perform Dell Command updates and basic hardware maintenance
  • Support office hardware such as printers, monitors, keyboards, mice, and docks
  • Answer general troubleshooting questions and resolve day‑to‑day IT issues
  • Assist with basic office IT tickets and new hardware requests

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–5 years of IT support experience
  • Experience supporting approximately 500 end users
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Intune (MDM)
    • Microsoft 365 (O365) troubleshooting
    • Laptop imaging and deployment
    • Apple and Android device setup
  • Ability to work independently and resolve issues without formal training
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

This is a Contract position based out of Appleton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
