IT Support Technician

Location: Middletown, PA
Position Type: On-site 
Contract Length: 6 months + possible extensions

Position Overview:
This position supports IT asset deployment and lifecycle management by preparing, imaging, organizing, and deploying desktop equipment in a Windows 11 environment. The role involves inventory tracking, software installation, asset documentation, and assisting with equipment setup and decommissioning while adhering to established IT procedures and schedules.

Duties:

• Inventory, organize, and track IT equipment and hardware assets
• Unbox, configure, and prepare desktops, laptops, monitors, and related accessories for deployment
• Apply Windows 11 operating system images using SCCM and Intune
• Install and configure software within a Windows 11 environment
• Update and maintain asset records and documentation in ServiceNow
• Deploy IT equipment and assets as needed to support operational requirements
• Assist with decommissioning and retirement of outdated equipment
• Follow established IT standards, procedures, and operational guidelines
• Maintain accurate records while adhering to detailed instructions and timelines

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma required
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and imaging tools required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely required
• Good communication and time management skills required
• Ability to pass required background screenings required
