We are currently seeking a driven IT Support Technician to join our team and support the firm’s cutting-edge legal systems and technology infrastructure.
About the Role
As an IT Support Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our technical systems to ensure seamless daily operations for attorneys and staff. This position offers growth opportunities including professional development, certification support, and continuing education reimbursement. We are open to training the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot browser, OS, file system, and general workstation issues.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and technical support to internal users via phone, in person, and digitally.
- Educate users on basic system use and preventive maintenance.
- Research and resolve technical issues independently and efficiently.
- Deploy and install user equipment; configure and allocate systems for end-users.
- Relocate and decommission outdated hardware; must be able to lift 30 lbs. regularly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service requests, issues, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with MSPs and escalate technical issues as needed.
- Provide insights to improve technical processes and service delivery.
- Receive equipment shipments and manage inventory
- Work with Entra, Intune, Exchange, and other cloud-based Microsoft platforms
Experience and Professional Qualifications
- Hands-on troubleshooting of Windows 10 (and later) endpoints and common legal or business applications
- Preferred: Formal training in IT or a related field.
- Preferred: Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+/Security+/Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MTA, ITIL Foundations, or similar. Upon successful testing, certification testing cost reimbursement for pre-approved Microsoft or CompTia certifications.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to communicate via email/text, over the phone, in person.
- Ability to frequently push, pull, carry, and move 25 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, carry, and move 35 lbs.
