Job DetailsJob Location: MARIETTA OFFICE - MARIETTA, GA 30062Position Type: Full Time IndirectThe IT Support Tech I supports the IT department by coordinating hardware and software requests, maintaining asset inventories, and providing first-level technical support. This role is responsible for procuring equipment and licenses, tracking lifecycle and ownership of IT assets, and assisting with IT projects. The position works closely with team members, managers, end users, and vendors to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of IT services.
Responsibilities:
Stage new systems for deployment by the IT helpdesk
Perform basic Active Directory user management
Serve as primary contact for IT hardware requests
Procure IT hardware including workstations and peripherals
Complete receiving of IT hardware to support invoice processing
Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and lifecycle tracking
Serve as primary contact for IT software requests
Procure and track software licenses
Procure company cell phones and hotspots through vendors
Maintain cellular device inventory records
Support documentation of IT systems and environment
Assist IT team with projects and other assigned tasks
QualificationsRequired Experience and Skills:
2 or more years of IT experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of current business hardware, software, and mobile devices
Additional requirements:
Ability to pass a technical vocabulary assessment
Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt
Commitment to maintaining professional appearance and work ethic
Interest in pursuing IT certifications and professional development opportunities
Participation in regular department meetings and training activities
Work Conditions:
