About the Role
We are currently seeking an Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support across both office and manufacturing environments, helping ensure our engineers, operators, and staff can work efficiently with minimal downtime.
Qualifications
• 0–2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience (internship or lab experience acceptable)
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience with Active Directory or similar systems preferred
• Familiarity with ERP or MES systems in manufacturing environments is a plus
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are a plus
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across office and manufacturing environments
• Diagnose and resolve issues on Windows workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices
• Set up, configure, and deploy new user equipment including computers, printers, and mobile devices
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions in Active Directory
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (VPN, Wi-Fi, LAN)
• Log, track, and escalate support requests through the IT ticketing system
• Support manufacturing floor equipment such as barcode scanners, label printers, and inspection systems
• Assist with software installations, updates, and patch management
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities from an IT perspective
• Follow company IT policies, procedures, and security standards
• Assist with special projects and provide general support to the IT team
