We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Detroit office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner
- Install and configure computer systems, software, and peripherals
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place and followed
- Train employees on new technologies and software applications
- Keep up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and systems
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and licenses
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office, and networking concepts
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud-based applications
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
