We're looking for caring, compassionate employees to join our team and to help us fulfill our mission to deliver the area's BEST senior care!     Position Summary The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end users across the organization. This role ensures the smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure by diagnosing issues, resolving technical problems, and maintaining IT equipment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting both routine and complex technical issues in a timely manner.   Key Responsibilities Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to employees (in-person, remote, phone, and email) Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory / Microsoft 365) Set up and maintain VPN access and remote desktop solutions Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance Document support requests and resolutions in ticketing systems Assist with onboarding and offboarding (device setup, account provisioning, security access) Support cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection and phishing awareness Maintain IT inventory and asset management records Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers when necessary Support backup and disaster recovery processes   Required Qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.  In College working toward the above degree will be considered. 2+ years of IT support experience preferred.
