Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to user requests for support
- Maintain and routinely service all hardware and software
- Hardware, software, network and OS installations and repair.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware and network problems.
- Inventory computer and network hardware/software.
- Monitor antivirus software and updates and repair computers infected with spyware, adware and/or viruses.
- Perform routine audits of all systems and all departments to investigate and repair any potential problems.
- Maintenance of phone systems (analog)
- Provide training to users as they come aboard and/or new applications as they are inducted.
- Maintain open communication and positive working relationship with staff.
- Support Park Applications, Operating Systems, MS Office and other programs.
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience in the field of information systems.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office, basic networking and POS concepts
- A basic understanding of computer network cabling and network file and print services
- Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently manage time.
- Strong oral and written communications skills in English
- Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to develop, maintain, and promote strong internal and external relationships
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Must be able to bend, lift, carry and perform other duties involved in installing and checking hardware.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 25 pounds.
