About the Role:
The IT Manager Systems is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role involves managing system administrators and IT staff to deliver reliable and scalable technology solutions that support business objectives. The IT Manager Systems will lead projects related to system upgrades, network enhancements, and cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. They will collaborate closely with other departments to understand technology needs and provide strategic guidance on IT investments. Ultimately, this position ensures that all IT systems operate efficiently, securely, and align with the company’s long-term goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT systems management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with system monitoring tools and IT service management frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead and manage technical teams effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and containerization (e.g., VMware, Docker).
- Background in project management methodologies like Agile or PMP.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of IT systems, including servers, networks, and storage solutions.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain system security and integrity.
- Coordinate and lead system upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
