Status: Full-Time, Exempt, In-Person
Pay: $80,000 - $90,000, DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Summary: The Information Technology Manager is the strategic leadership of the organization's Information Technology (IT) team under the direction of the Information Systems Director. Corresponding responsibilities include developing and implementing Informaiton Technology initiatives, managing existing technology infrastructure, and leading a team in line with organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Information Technology Management
Goal: To plan, implement, ad support IT initiatives for the organization
Develop innovative technology strategies aligned with the organization's goals
Maintain existing IT infrastructure and operations
Oversee the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure information systems
Optimize and manage the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services
Evaluate, select, and manage external vendors and partners, and negotiate contracts
Manage IT expenses to ensure fiscal responsibility and resource optimization
Perform ad hoc tasks as necessary to facilitate department operations
Leadership
Goal: Lead, mentor, develop, and motivate a high-performing team
Provide guidance and leadership to IT team
Align team goals with the department's goals
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
Perform supervisory duties, including approving timesheets, reimbursements, and PTO requests
Miscellaneous
Attend staff meetings and training workshops as required
Enhance job performance by applying up-to-date professional and technical knowledge gained by attending seminars and conferences and reviewing professional publications
Perform ad hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Experience & Education
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Have experience in an enterprise IT leadership role, preferably in the non-profit sector
Possess IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Net+, PMP, etc.) preferred
Mandatory Skills
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Possess advance computer literacy including Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, computer
Ability to work effectively with a diverse population; plan, organize and prioritize duties
Clearly communicate information and instructions verbally and in written form; maintain a positive, professional, and safe environment while on duty; and establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Dependability, responsibility, and the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Prolonged periods of standing and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
