IT Manager

Reports To: Director of Finance, IT & Customer Service
Location: Menominee, Michigan
Status: Full-time, On-site, Salary, Exempt
Pay Range: $85,000–$120,000 annually

Position Summary

Enstrom Helicopter Corporation is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the company’s enterprise software, business systems, and information technology operations.

This role oversees ERP, finance, human resources, manufacturing, quality, reporting, and other business-critical systems, including platforms such as Harris Data, NetSuite, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, and Power BI. The IT Manager will lead software evaluation, software implementation, system integration, vendor management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technical support.

The ideal candidate will understand how software can improve business processes, reduce manual work, strengthen reporting, and support long-term organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise software platforms and business systems.
  • Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to identify business needs and improve processes through technology.
  • Evaluate, recommend, implement, and support new software solutions, integrations, and business applications.
  • Lead software selection efforts, including requirements gathering, vendor comparisons, product demonstrations, cost analysis, and implementation planning.
  • Manage relationships with software vendors, consultants, technology partners, and service providers.
  • Oversee software licensing, contracts, subscriptions, renewals, warranties, and vendor performance.
  • Support and improve ERP, financial, payroll, HR, manufacturing, quality, and reporting platforms.
  • Write, review, and troubleshoot SQL queries for reporting, data validation, integrations, and system support.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Microsoft Excel, SQL Server Reporting Services, or similar tools.
  • Lead software and technology projects from planning through testing, implementation, training, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows, modernize systems, improve data accuracy, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Manage user accounts, access controls, system permissions, and security roles throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Oversee cybersecurity tools, policies, employee awareness, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Manage networks, servers, computers, mobile devices, telecommunications, printers, and other technology assets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop IT team members while establishing priorities and ensuring timely, responsive support.
  • Develop and manage IT budgets, technology roadmaps, policies, procedures, standards, and documentation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience leading an IT department, technical team, or business systems function.
  • Experience administering and supporting enterprise software, ERP systems, and other business-critical applications.
  • Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, integrating, and optimizing business technology platforms.
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, licensing, subscriptions, and technology purchasing.
  • Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft-based environments, networking, cybersecurity, access controls, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience managing technology projects, budgets, priorities, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to employees, leaders, vendors, and other nontechnical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Harris Data, NetSuite, Microsoft 365, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, defense, government-contracting, or another regulated organization.
  • Familiarity with NIST, CMMC, or similar cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience leading ERP implementations, system integrations, data migrations, and business-process improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements

  • May occasionally need to respond to urgent system, network, or cybersecurity issues outside normal business hours.
