Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Manager to provide leadership for our technology operations across the East Coast region. In this role, you will lead IT teams across multiple East Coast locations, own regional IT strategy and execution, and ensure the delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable technology services that advance business objectives.

 

This position requires deep technical expertise, strong people leadership, and business acumen to drive regional IT operations while contributing to global IT strategy. The IT Manager will act as a key advisor to regional business leaders and an active voice within the broader IT leadership team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and mentor IT Support Leads and individual contributors across East Coast locations, fostering a high-performance culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all regional IT operations, including local infrastructure, end-user support, systems administration, and security.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues and critical incidents across the East Coast region, ensuring swift resolution and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and manage the regional IT budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and vendor management.
  • Build trusted partnerships with senior business leaders across the East Coast region to align technology investments with strategic priorities and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements across all East Coast sites.
  • Drive regional IT projects from planning through implementation, coordinating with global IT teams as needed.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service delivery, team performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with regional vendors, service providers, and contractors.
  • Oversee hardware and software lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, and retirement.
  • Play a leading role in shaping IT strategies, policies, and standards for the East Coast region, while representing regional needs and perspectives within the broader global IT organization.
  • Own and continuously improve business continuity and disaster recovery plans for the East Coast region, ensuring they are regularly tested, updated, and aligned with enterprise risk standards.

 

Supervision of Personnel

  • Will supervise/manage multiple IT related roles across multiple locations across multiple locations in the Eastern United States.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, including 5+ years in a senior leadership or people management role.
  • Proven experience managing IT teams across multiple locations or sites.
  • Strong technical background in enterprise infrastructure, networking, cloud services, and security.
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL) and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendors, and contracts.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to U.S. operations.

Preferred

  • ITIL, PMP, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience in a multi-national or distributed organization.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.

 

Job Location

  • The position is an on-site role at our Jacksonville, Florida facilities, but this role may have occasional travel to other IEM facilities for infrastructure projects, operational initiatives and for training or conferences.
  • This position is not available to California residents.
