40The purpose of this position is to ensure that our customers have the appropriate application software to be effective and efficient and ensure that software systems are reliable and properly maintained. In addition, evaluate their information system needs, design solutions with them, coordinate interface development, data translation needs, system maintenance and enhancements. Manage projects including new system acquisition, development and installation. The work is performed under the direction of the CCITC Director.

- Recommend transfers, promotions, discipline, discharge, and salary increases as appropriate
- Recruits, interviews, selects and trains new hires and promotions
- Provides training and instruction; plans, coordinates, assigns and reviews work; maintains standards; approves leave;
- Ensures that staff receive additional specialized training necessary for them to perform at a high level in application management, process improvement, project management and relationship partner responsibilities as defined per their job description.

- Works with other managers and analysts to recommend technology solutions for CCITC and its customers.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
Bachelor's degree in MIS or other Information Technology degree preferred. At least three years’ experience as an analyst within an IT organization providing business analysis and applications support. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
Project management experience; Project Management Professional certification desired.
Experience managing the development of complex interfaces between multiple vendors desired.

- Requires the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with City, County and NCHC personnel, department heads, computer consultants, vendor representatives, CCITC staff and the general public.

Compensation:
Starting salary is $108,534.40 - $116,875.20 annually
