Full job details

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in information technology. The IT Help Desk Technician will provide first-level technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues while delivering exceptional customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Respond to help desk requests via phone, email, and in person.

Troubleshoot and resolve basic computer, printer, software, and network issues.

Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.

Assist with user account setup, password resets, and system access.

Document support requests and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.

Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff as needed.

Maintain accurate inventory of IT equipment.

Provide excellent customer service and technical assistance to end users.

 

Qualifications

 

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, etc.) are a plus.

Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and computer hardware.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.
