About Your Role
CMTS is seeking a highly motivated IT Coordinator – Technology Project Coordinator (TPC) to support bond-funded technology projects for the Los Angeles Community College District. This position serves as a technical resource supporting Technology Project Managers through project coordination, documentation management, stakeholder communication, scheduling, and project execution activities. The TPC will assist in delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget while supporting construction and infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications
In order to become a candidate, you must possess these skills and abilities:
- 3+ years of experience coordinating and managing multiple IT projects
- Experience supporting capital improvement programs and familiarity with relevant codes and standards
- Experience integrating technology within construction and engineering projects
- Experience coordinating multiple IT projects of varying complexity and size
- Experience researching and validating technology components for complex projects
- Experience supporting all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, and closeout
- Experience supporting technologies including:
- Network Infrastructure
- Server Infrastructure
- VoIP Systems
- CCTV / Physical Security Systems
- Audio Visual Systems
- Storage Solutions
- Wireless Technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in technology-related disciplines
- Certifications in project management
- Familiarity with public-sector bidding and contracting processes
- Experience supporting publicly funded programs
- Experience facilitating and coordinating end-user training sessions
Responsibilities
- Support coordination of 5–10 technology projects simultaneously
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Support delivery of IT projects on schedule and within budget
- Collaborate with Program Management Office staff on project matters
- Review and develop IT-related contract documents
- Develop technical scopes of work supporting technology projects
- Review and coordinate project submittals and approvals
- Coordinate project budgets, schedules, and asset management activities
- Track project status and prepare management reports
- Assist with change order reviews and evaluations
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and report project performance including cost and schedule metrics
- Maintain risk logs and support risk mitigation planning
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings
- Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and finalized meeting minutes
- Coordinate stakeholder activities to complete project tasks
- Organize project documentation and reporting packages
- Create project presentations and status reports as required
