We are seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to support the technology needs of our campus. This on-site role is responsible for assisting end-users, managing IT infrastructure, maintaining internal and external systems, and assessing future technology needs to enhance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
On site in Knoxville TN and Cleveland TN (50/50 split between campuses)
Knoxville Campus address: 10820 Parkside Dr, Knoxville, TN 37934
Cleveland Campus address: 2305 Chambliss Ave NW, Cleveland, TN 37311
Network & System Administration
Oversee, install, manage, and maintain Jersey College's IT network, ensuring system security and efficiency.
Maintain operational integrity of all information technology equipment and software.
Administer and monitor internal servers, intranet, and extranet sites.
Help Desk Support
Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Manage the IT help desk, ensuring timely resolution of support requests.
IT Training & User Support
Develop and conduct training for faculty, staff, and students on IT systems and best practices.
Create user-friendly documentation and resources to improve technology adoption and efficiency.
Technology Assessment & Strategy
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend relevant solutions to enhance the institution’s IT infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices.
Other Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to optimize IT solutions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
