IT Analyst
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree in Computer Technology or equivalent work experience
- Valid New York State Driver’s License
- Yearly physical (required within 1 month after hire)

- Must successfully complete all required background checks:
- NYS Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR)
- Multi-State Sex Offender Registry (SOR)
- NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) fingerprinting
- NYS Justice Center Staff Exclusion List (SEL)
- NYS OMIG Medicaid Exclusion List
- Out-of-state child abuse register inquiry of any state in which the person resided within the last five years (if applicable)
- NYS License Event Notification Service (LENS)
- Office of Inspector General (OIG)
- Must successfully complete Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)
HOURS
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Must be flexible to meet the needs of the program
SALARY
$50,000 - $65,000/year
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a fast, reliable campus computer network and the infrastructure supporting fire and security systems. This includes upgrading network devices and firmware, monitoring campus wifi performance and associated configuration, maintaining organized network closets, ensuring the wiring within buildings meets expectations for performance and is aesthetically unobtrusive, and maintaining the campus fiber optic physical network.
- Maintain and troubleshoot phone systems ensuring reliable function, configuring user telephony needs and assisting IT support with client telephone devices as needed.
- Configure and maintain access control systems ensuring security systems behavior meets expectations. This includes maintaining role-based user permissions compatible with other directories, documentation of appropriate access, periodic systems tests, maintaining stock of replacement parts, upgrading hardware, software, and firmware as needed.
- Configure and maintain campus video recording systems. This includes managing video access and views, upgrading cameras, managing their configuration and ensuring useful video of significant incidents is properly captured, and configuring analytics and reporting as needed.
- Test new technologies related to networks, video systems, and access control systems evaluating them for effectiveness in enhancing services for WGA.
- Provide backup and escalation technical support for the WGA IT support specialist including monitoring and assigning support tickets as needed to maintain fast response times and user satisfaction
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of business workflow applications for a variety of internal processes.
- Maintain accurate and updated team documentation for areas of responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Technology

The William George Agency for Children’s Services is located on a 650-acre campus nine miles northeast of Ithaca, in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State. It is a private not-for-profit residential treatment center licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) that serves both male and female youth between the ages of 12 and 21, and their families, who present with significant mental health issues, behavioral difficulties, and substance abuse issues. Our programs offer an array of treatment modalities specifically designed to meet the needs of our youth.
