IT Administrator

To strengthen our motivated IT Team in Charlotte, NC, we are looking for a passionate IT Administrator. 

This position has travel expectations of 30% between MM Packaging sites. 

Your Role

• You will monitor and respond to the IT Support Ticket stream raised by the Corporate Call Center, prioritizing appropriately, resolving in a timely manner or escalating as necessary while overseeing resolution and keeping users updated. 

• You will set up new starters and configure/issue IT equipment and manage the return of IT equipment/asset disposal.

• You will be responsible for the rollout of new location infrastructure including servers, endpoints, network infrastructure and retirement of same.

• You will have the technical administration of Microsoft end user/Modern Workplace technologies including: Windows desktop and server (AD, DNS, DHCP), MS Office desktop apps, Office365.

• You are accountable and responsible for the analysis of alerts and defining corrective actions, including investigation and diagnosis of incidents, finding root cause or forwarding to third party support or Central IT. 

• You have an indepth understanding of computer systems, network protocols, routing, switching and firewall principles. 

Your Profile

• You have obtained a degree in IT or Computer Science. Additional certifications in IT relevant areas beneficial. 

• You have already gained 2-3 years of experience in modern workplace environments, ideally with Microsoft platforms and expertise knowledge in Windows Server administration. 

• You have knowledge in Windows Server administration.

• You are familiar with workflow and database concepts, preferably in the Printing Industry.
