Position Overview
Cornerstone is seeking Information Technology System Administrators to support the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), 4th Intelligence Analysis Squadron (4 IAS), Non-Earth Imagery (NEI) Flight. Personnel supporting this effort will provide administration, maintenance, cybersecurity support, and sustainment of highly classified mission systems, servers, workstations, and network infrastructure supporting critical space intelligence operations.
The selected candidate will support Special Access Program (SAP) computing environments, mission applications, and operational intelligence systems while ensuring system security, availability, reliability, and compliance with Government cybersecurity requirements. Personnel will work closely with cybersecurity professionals, software engineers, intelligence analysts, and Government stakeholders to maintain mission readiness and operational continuity.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain classified Windows and Linux operating environments supporting intelligence mission systems.
- Install, configure, maintain, and sustain servers, workstations, network devices, and supporting infrastructure.
- Perform patch management, software updates, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening activities.
- Manage Active Directory environments, user accounts, permissions, and access control processes.
- Support system configuration management, baseline maintenance, and change control activities.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity to ensure continuous mission operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and operating system issues.
- Support cybersecurity compliance efforts including STIG implementation, vulnerability mitigation, and security control validation.
- Assist with incident response, system recovery, continuity of operations, and disaster recovery activities.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders, cybersecurity personnel, and technical teams to implement approved system changes and upgrades.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting system administration, network administration, or enterprise information technology environments.
- Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8140/8570 compliant certification.
- Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Experience managing Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
- Experience supporting system patching, configuration management, and technical troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting classified or secure computing environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting NASIC, NSIC, NGA, NRO, AFRL, USSF, or other Intelligence Community organizations.
- Experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) information systems and networks.
- Experience administering Linux operating systems.
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, virtualization technologies, or virtual desktop environments.
- Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and supporting cybersecurity compliance activities.
- Experience supporting Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) environments.
- Experience with storage administration, backup solutions, and disaster recovery processes.
- Experience supporting intelligence mission systems and classified analytical environments.
Salary
$115,000
The salary listed represents the anticipated starting salary range for qualified candidates. Higher compensation may be offered based on directly relevant experience, mission expertise, technical qualifications, certifications, education, and clearance level.
