Project Overview:
The Joint Pathology Center (JPC) delivers cost-effective, high-quality, multidisciplinary pathology consultation, education, and research in support of the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and other authorized federal and international partners. JPC’s mission relies on the continuous availability, security, integrity, and confidentiality of mission-critical information technology systems supporting pathology consultation, laboratory operations, enterprise data management, research activities, and educational initiatives.
Under this effort, contractor personnel provide professional, non-personal enterprise IT and mission support services to assist JPC in the operation, maintenance, modernization, security, compliance, and continuous improvement of its information systems and associated mission support functions. Personnel operate within classified and controlled environments and support mission-essential operations requiring high operational reliability, cybersecurity compliance, stakeholder coordination, and technical expertise.
Position Summary:
Provides advanced systems administration, infrastructure management, cybersecurity compliance, and enterprise modernization support.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Windows Server, Linux systems, and enterprise infrastructure
- Manage VMware virtualization and enterprise storage solutions
- Support Cisco networking and certificate lifecycle management
- Maintain STIG compliance and RMF support activities
- Lead migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects
Required Qualifications
- Active DOD Secret clearance or eligibility
- IAT Level II certification with advanced certifications preferred
- Experience with VMware, MECM/SCCM, and enterprise networking
- Minimum Experience: 6 Years
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant technical, engineering or scientific field (or equivalent combination of education and related IT experience).
