The Help Desk Technician is@responsible@for supporting employees locally in Shephgerdsville, KY, or remotely with all computer-related issues. This position will@assist@with the maintenance, analysis, troubleshooting and@repairing@of computer systems, as well as hardware peripherals and relevant software applications. This position documents,@maintains,@upgrades@and/or@replaces@hardware and software systems. This position is located in Shepherdsville, KY however the technician will likely need to travel to other relevant UniTek locations, as needed, for hardware and software@support@(less than 10% travel anticipated)

Job Responsibilities:@@
-Support all desktop, laptops & cell phone functions@
-Provide account creation, management, modification, disablement, and deletions within Microsoft Active Directory and Entra
-Assist@with both on and off-site set-up, installation debugging, tracking and maintenance of all hardware and software@
-Assist@with ordering hardware, IT-related supplies, and@maintaining@adequate quantities for handling maintenance and new installations@
-Monitor support ticket queue@
-Record, track, and document service desk solutions@
-Issue equipment@as@requested@
-Track/monitor equipment issued and document assets accordingly@
-Perform maintenance on desktops & laptops@
Education:@@@@@ @
-Bachelor's degree@in IT-related field (or 4+ years experience)
@
Position Requirements:@
-Minimum of 3 years working within an IT support role@
-Minimum of 3 years of experience working with MS Operating Systems@
-Microsoft Certification or CompTIA A+ Certification Desired@
-Must be able to work onsite in Shepherdsville, KY
-Experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment@
-Excellent Customer Service skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language is@required@
