Overview
Ocean Bank is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on comprehensive technical assistance and user support for employees across the Bank. Provides technical assistance to users, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of desktop computers within the Bank.
Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware, and other authorized peripheral equipment.
- Performs general preventative maintenance tasks, diagnoses and resolves software, hardware, and network issues, and ensures desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems.
- Resolve desktop and microcomputer-related technical problems in both local and remote environments, performing regular system backups and recovery operations on workstations, and maintaining user account data, including access rights, security protocols, and system group assignments at the workstation level.
- Contribute to inventory management and participate in projects such as system migrations, software upgrades, and related initiatives.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit the capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
