Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Job Type: Contract (August 2026 – July 2027)
Compensation: Competitive W2 Rate (DOE)
About the Role
SunSoft Online is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician for a long-term contract opportunity with our client, an Arizona state agency. This is a 100% onsite position providing desktop and technical support for end users in a professional enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and end-user technical support.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Support Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Configure peripherals including printers, monitors, and mobile devices.
- Respond to support requests and document resolutions.
- Assist with workstation deployments, upgrades, and replacements.
- Deliver excellent customer service while supporting internal users.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing desktop or technical support in an enterprise environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Active Directory, account administration, or ticketing systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Additional Requirements
- Must currently reside in the Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Resume must clearly show current city and state.
- Must be available for an in-person interview in Phoenix during the week of July 20, 2026, if requested.
- Must be able to start within two weeks of an offer.
- HireRight background check and drug screening required.
