Desktop Support Specialist
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Desktop Support Specialists to provide hands-on technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, networking, and end-user technology issues.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting diverse desktop environments, deploying equipment, maintaining inventory, and providing technical assistance both independently and as part of a collaborative support team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
- Deliver both remote and onsite technical assistance to end users.
- Install, configure, deploy, and support workstation hardware and software.
- Manage equipment setup, replacement, and inventory documentation.
- Support classroom, meeting room, and presentation technology environments.
- Troubleshoot audio/visual equipment and instructional technology systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and upgrades on technology equipment.
- Communicate system outages, service interruptions, and support updates.
- Document incidents, resolutions, procedures, and asset information.
- Assist with complex technical projects and escalations as needed.
- Provide user training and guidance on supported technologies.
- Participate in after-hours or on-call support when required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing desktop support in a networked environment.
- Experience supporting both Windows and macOS platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Experience deploying and configuring end-user technology equipment.
- Familiarity with audio/visual technology used in classrooms, conference rooms, or event spaces.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
