Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Bethany Children's Health Center - Bethany, OK 73008Position Type: ContractorEducation Level: Associate's DegreeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AdministrativeJob Category: Information TechnologyJob Purpose  The Junior Network Administrator will help support, maintain, and monitor network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance. And, provide friendly customer support to end users for PC, server or mainframe applications and hardware to diagnose problems and optimize resolutions for the best end-user experience.  The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical fundamentals, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot methodically under pressure.    Qualifications  Education:  Bachelor’s degree or associate in related field preferred. Entry level understanding of Information Systems.    Experience:  1-3 years’ experience in IT Support or related field preferred.   License/Certification/Credential:  Appropriate certifications     Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Duty  Percent of Time  Network Administration   Assisting with the installation, configuration, upgrading, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software, including switches, routers, and firewalls.   Assisting with the installation, configuration, upgrading, and troubleshooting of Telephony hardware and software.   25%  Help Desk Technician   Provide effective customer service and technical support for end-users  Install computer peripherals, hardware, and software for end-users  Run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and implement solutions    30%  System Performance and Availability    Monitor system health using enterprise monitoring tools.  Investigate and resolve performance degradation, service interruptions, and configuration issues.  Participate in on call rotation and after hours maintenance windows as required.   10%  Documentation    Maintain current and accurate documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.  Write help desk training manuals  15%  Project Support    Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.  Work closely with security, applications, and facilities teams on cross functional initiatives.  15%  Other duties as assigned    Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of departmental operations.  5%    This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of all activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required by an employee.
