Helpdesk Support Purpose:  We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Helpdesk Support Specialist to provide first-level technical assistance to internal users across the organization. This role is responsible for resolving common hardware, software, network, and access-related issues while delivering timely, professional support that enables employees to work efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong troubleshooting skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Hours: Monday through Friday 7am-4pm

Helpdesk Support Job Duties: 

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, applications, and peripheral equipment
• Respond to support requests via phone, email, ticketing system, chat, or in person
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and authorized devices
• Support security systems, phone systems, printers, and other office technology as required
• Educate users on IT procedures, best practices, and proper use of technology
• Accurately document incidents, requests, and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system
• Follow established helpdesk processes, escalation paths, and service level expectations
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level IT staff as appropriate
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Provide on-call or after-hours support as needed
• Travel to company branch locations as needed to provide hands-on support
• Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive company and customer information
• Perform other related duties that support the goals of the organization

We have multiple bays for truck and trailer service along with a complete offering of parts. Our Service Technicians have an extensive amount of experience. Blaine Brothers has a second location in Scanlon (Cloquet), Minnesota. This facility offers the same parts and service you depend on at our Minneapolis location. Our other location is in Clearwater, Minnesota. Although a smaller facility, it offers quality truck and trailer services you expect from any one of our locations. Blaine Brothers TRUCKALINE offers complete frame, suspension and alignment services.
