Tier 2 IT Technician

The Opportunity:
On the EITaaS program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices (EUDs) to enable the DAF to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tier 2 IT Technician to join our team at Peterson SFB in Colorado. This position focuses on deskside break/fix for our Space Force HQ customers to include multiple geographically separated units (GSUs). Remote support to GSUs is the primary focus, but you will be highly involved with other team members supporting local customers.

This is a full-time on-site position working along side of a small, highly experienced, and talented team!

Responsibilities:

• Technical team member responsible for providing systems administration and EUD support to local and GSU customers. 
• Responsible for installing new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolve software related problems.
• Image, configure, and deploy physical and virtual desktops; troubleshoot and repair hardware including desktops, laptops, zero clients, monitors, and docking stations; manage OS, BIOS, disk and data encryption.
• Install and troubleshoot end user apps and certificates.
• Properly document actions in trouble tickets and meet all SLAs.
• Install and configure VOIP phones and voicemail, troubleshoot phone issues.
• Assist with user moves, including connectivity, computers, and phones.
• Prepare obsolete assets for disposal.
• Assist other IT teams as needed.
• Configure EUDs to print, scan, and fax on multifunction devices, troubleshoot communication/software issues.
  

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Outstanding Customer Service Skills are a MUST!
• CompTIA Security+ CE
• Active Secret Clearance
• 3+ years of relevant experience  
• Must be proficient in the following:
  • Windows desktop operating systems
  • Imaging laptops/desktops
  • Microsoft Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 components
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Ability to lift and carry boxes of computers, monitors, and other hardware
  

Desired:

• Experience with audio/visual systems
• Cisco Call Manager experience

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.​
