As part of a collaborative team of experienced engineers, you'll help execute compliance testing across multiple active development programs to ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and performance requirements before release. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working in a laboratory environment, executing structured test procedures, analyzing large datasets, and documenting results with precision. The team operates an onsite test laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 standards, with established test plans and procedures that allow new engineers to contribute immediately.

• Verify product compliance with applicable industry, safety, and regulatory standards throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Perform hands-on testing in an ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory environment using specialized electrical test equipment.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to verify product performance and identify deviations from compliance requirements.
• Produce detailed technical documentation, test reports, and validation records to support certification activities.
• Troubleshoot hardware and test failures using systematic root cause analysis techniques.
• Support component-level testing, including short-circuit and fault-condition evaluations.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate test execution, data collection, and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams to resolve issues and improve product performance.
• Continuously improve existing test methods, automation, and laboratory processes.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of experience testing power electronics, inverters, power conversion equipment, or related electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of product validation and compliance testing methodologies.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience documenting test results, validation activities, and engineering reports.
• Hands-on experience executing structured validation testing from established test plans and procedures.
• Experience using Python for scripting, debugging, or test automation.
• Understanding of electrical fault testing, including component short-circuit testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation practices.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), renewable energy products, EV charging, or inverter technologies.
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, DAQ systems, and programmable power supplies.
• Experience developing automated test frameworks and improving existing validation processes.
• Exposure to certification or compliance testing for electrical products.
