We are seeking a Test Engineer with a strong background in designing and executing functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing for Pega applications. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with UI testing, API testing, Agile delivery, and modern testing frameworks
- Develop and execute test plans and scripts for functional, regression, performance, and Section 508 testing.
- Perform regression testing using SOAP UI, including validation of Pega WSDLs and web services.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of Pega applications to ensure alignment with business, technical, and functional requirements.
- Perform accessibility testing using JAWS.
- Validate workflow implementations within Pega.
- Translate requirements and user stories into detailed test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated test cases and capture evidence.
- Document and track defects; support defect triage.
- Support User Acceptance Testing activities.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Apply standardized testing methods, tools, and procedures to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Escalate issues through established project management channels
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Certified Tester -- Advanced Level (TTA, TA, and/or TM) desired
- 5 or more years professional software testing experience including test automation and/or infrastructure development, test planning, test case design, test methodologies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Candidates must be permanent residents of the US and must have lived in the United States 3 of the past 5 years.
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing methodologies.
- Experience in test automation using tools such as Playwright, Subject7, Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar frameworks.
- Strong experience in API testing, including web services validation and testing using tools such as SOAPUI or Insomnia or Postman.
- Strong knowledge of Section 508 compliance and accessibility testing, including experience with accessibility testing tools such as JAWS.
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to write advanced SQL queries.
- 4+ years of experience with test management tools such as Confluence, Jira, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrated experience working in a SAFe Agile environment, including participation in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and Program Increment (PI) planning.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage overlapping assignments

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience.
