POSITION DESCRIPTION: The IT Support Technician provides frontline technology support at our Texas co-packing facility. This hands-on role is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user hardware, network connectivity, and peripheral devices to ensure plant operations run without interruption. The technician works closely with the on-site Network Support Manager and coordinates with the broader IT Shared Services team as needed.

LOCATION: The position is based at DrinkPAK’s Texas Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up, configure, and image desktop and laptop computers for new and existing users

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot networked and local printers and peripheral devices

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Wi-Fi connectivity issues for end-user devices and plant floor equipment

  • Support and troubleshoot IP camera systems and video surveillance connectivity

  • Perform hardware break/fix tasks including component replacement and equipment swaps

  • Maintain accurate records of hardware assets, configurations, and support tickets in the ITSM platform

  • Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support to facility staff, escalating issues to the Network Support Manager or Shared Services team when needed

  • Assist with cabling, patch panel organization, and basic network closet upkeep

  • Support onboarding of new employees with workstation setup and basic system access

  • Maintain inventory of IT consumables, spare hardware, and peripheral stock

  • Follow IT security policies, acceptable use standards, and change management procedures

  • Support periodic IT projects as directed, including infrastructure upgrades and equipment refreshes

  • Responsibilities may change; team members may be required to perform other tasks not specifically mentioned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred

  • At least 1–3 years of hands-on IT support experience in a corporate or industrial environment

  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 desktop, Windows Server, enterprise network gear

  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking fundamentals, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and DHCP/DNS basics

  • Experience setting up and troubleshooting printers, cameras, and peripheral devices

  • Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to work independently

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing/plant environment, including standing, lifting equipment, and working in a warehouse setting

  • Experience in a food & beverage manufacturing, co-packing or warehouse environment preferred

  • Exposure to IP camera systems (Meraki, Hanwha, or similar) preferred

  • Familiarity with ITSM ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, Freshservice, or similar) preferred
