JOB SUMMARY: Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software problems. Maintain data files and monitor system/server configuration(s) to ensure data integrity. Assists other team members in troubleshooting problems. Provide Tier II/III-level telephone support and troubleshooting. Mentor IT Technicians. Provide analysis and recommendations regarding the computer system configuration and needs of the Casino. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Mentor IT Technicians.
  • Ensure the integrity of authorized company computer systems.
  • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
  • Communicate information about system changes, issues and problems through proper channels to appropriate Team Members.
  • Submit written reports to IT Director regarding integrity issues and other reporting as assigned.
  • Train Team Members where needed and/or directed.
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter.
  • Responsible for guest service training and facilitating the Guest Service Policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS


Required skills and knowledge:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Any one or any combination of the following that totals two academic years (24 months): (a) college/vocational/technical (b) work experience related to computer software or hardware.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer functions and operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of networks and peripherals.
  • Advanced knowledge of diagnosing computer problems.
  • Two years’ experience of installing and administrating Microsoft operating systems outside of training or education.
  • Four years working in Information Technology.
  • CompTIA A+ Certification.
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification.
  • M365 Certified: Fundamentals.
  • Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
  • Must be dependable, responsible and willing to work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to respond to critical issues after working hours on a limited basis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, and pull.

  • Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment.
