Job Description
Responsible for the overall coordination of activities to successfully install and provide post-live support of the Neuroscience Information Management Systems installed within the Neuroscience Center at Valley Health. Plays a leading role in the change management aspects of implementing a digital environment, including breaking down of barriers to change in the clinical environments. Responsible for overall development of a Neuroscience Information Management System strategic plan including technical and clinical training and system implementation/upgrades. Responsible for all technical aspects of the Neuroscience Information Management Systems, including database administration integrity, remote access and HL7 interface needs. Addresses day-to-day operational needs within the Neuroscience Center's various data management systems (including business continuity or disaster recovery planning) and provides fiscal/budget estimates for on-going needs.Education
Bachelor's degree or course work in computer sciences or data processing is preferred.
Experience
Three or more years of related experience in either a cardiovascular service line and/or health care project management in a comparably sized hospital setting.
Qualifications
Strong troubleshooting skills including familiarity with use of computer operating systems, applications, vendor help desks, basic network tests required. Must have a thorough knowledge of typical Neuroscience operations (or other service line), processes and policies relevant to a hospital setting. Demonstrates strong communication, organizational and planning skills. Must be a problem solver and be willing to take ownership of all operating systems within the Neuroscience Center. Demonstrates competence and comfort with one or more common PC applications operating in a Windows environment.
